Seriously, how is it different from any other FPS? Up to this point, there's been VERY few FPS's that have kept my attention, because THEY'RE ALL the same.

Maybe some of us like a story that goes beyond to more than just fighting alien/mutant creatures that's been done a few thousand times (HALO and Gears of War, just to name a couple)
If this guy hates Kojima THAT much, then I'd like to see him do any better. This was a story 20 years in the making, and you can't help but applaud the kind of effort it takes to make a story branch out that far and then somehow bring it all back together and still make a decent amount of sense.

....I used to have a game called MERCS on the Sega Genesis a LONG time ago, I downloaded this game's demo and sure as sh!t it's almost the exact same game.

The fight between Metal Gears REX and RAY, that was the sh!t.
Capcom is full of stupid surprises. They saw what happened when DMC4 went multi. The forums lit up the night sky, and got the attention of the Capcom suits.

I played through Gears 1 on my PC, and I was a little miffed I spent $50 on it, sold it in a Garage Sale for $10 and went back to playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines within a week (John DiMaggio's voice was put to better use in that game.) Gears could learn a thing or two...
